About Me

 

I'm Feng Ye「枫叶」, in the poetic language of Chinese, translates to 'maple leaf'.

 

I have always had a deep-seated passion for visual storytelling since the age of 16. My journey began in China, where I nurtured my creative spirit in a well-known Chinese art college, after that, I laid the foundation for my future as a content creator and director in US. Now, I find myself in the Netherlands, where I've continued to explore the realms of photography and cinematography.

My journey in the world of visual storytelling is enriched by my education:

• 2021-2023, MA in Media & Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam, NL

• 2018-2020, BS in Creative Media & Film from Northern Arizona University, US

• 2017, 2021, BA in Film & TV Photography and Production from Nanjing University of the Arts, CN

With a unique blend of cultural influences from East and West, I bring a diverse and global perspective to my work. My educational journey, rich in both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, has not only broadened my creative horizons but also provided a solid foundation for my work. This enables me to seamlessly merge different artistic sensibilities into my projects

I consider myself incredibly fortunate to do what I love. My passion, curiosity, and dedication shine through every shot I take. There’s a unique thrill in capturing a moment that tells a story, knowing it's both authentic and irreplaceable.
